Hello, I am installing a new timing chain in my 2003 polaris predator 500 and i was wondering if I need to take apart the bottom part of engine to put the chain in or is there an easier way of doing so.

You will need to take the clutch cover off, and remove the crank gear. Then you will be able to see the drive sprocket for the timing chain on the crank.
