I have been noticing that radiator caps come in different bar measurements. I imagine that helps with flow? What would be the reasons for choosing a different cap pressure?

The higher the pressure in the system, the higher the water temperature can reach before it boils.  You have to be careful with it, as the higher pressure can cause leaks to form.

Yeah, the idea is to keep the coolant from boiling.  I run 1.8 bar caps on my KTMs.  The stock predator is a 1.1 bar if I remember correctly... which is not going to work for me, so I'll be bumping that one up as well.  Haven't got it far enough to worry about that yet though...
