Three brand new stock a-arms from Polaris.  Three unbelievable weld jobs.

1st arm:  False starts.  Spatter.  MIG wire stuck to welds.  Undercutting.

2nd arm:  Slightly less spatter.  But a stressed weld with crack starting at the weld and a warped tube.

3rd arm:  More of the same.  False starts.  Spatter.  Undercutting and pinholes.

Needless to say, I'm not impressed.  I would be emarrassed to installed these.  I'm emarrassed even looking at them.

That said, is any aftermarket company still offering stock width a-arms for the Outlaw?  I've talked with Laeger's and LSR, but neither are producing them anymore.

I hope your sending them back....??

A few years back, I ripped my thumb open from a
swinger sent to me for work. It was mig wire.

Yeah, Polaris was never really good at cleaning weld
splatter off of parts.

They've been sent back.  The appearance was bad enough.  More importantly, I didn't trust the integrity of the welds on any of them, especially after seeing the one that already had a stress crack forming.

For safety sake Polaris needs to get a handle on their quality control.  For consumer confidence and loyalty sake, they need to get a handle on their craftsmanship.  Both have gone downhill.  Neither of the original a-arms on the quad looked this bad.  These look like they came out of a failing high-school shop class.
