Bought a used Outlaw 525 and runs good and quiet. Was changing the oil and found this on the drain plug. Any thoughts? They are thicker pieces like a washer. Seems to have a slight curve, but for the life of me, can't fathom what internal part from which it came. I will pull the valve cover and clutch cover in the AM, but thought others had some ideas.

I'd guess at starter sprag "one way clutch".

In your experience, even if it is the starter clutch, would you tear it apart?  I know these are pricey if something breaks.

I'd sure replace the sprag and get the pieces of metal out of there.  The sprags are pretty reasonable and its really a pretty easy job to replace them.
