It depends on the type of riding you do.
If you ride a dual sport motorcycle they look great. I seriously thought about getting the Arai one. But alas I ride a quad, and as such I need goggles to protect eyes.
I could be wrong but those are my observations.

I tried a visor type on an old Bell Helmet. Biggest
problem was it fogging up constantly from the moisture
in your breath even with the vents wide open.

Hmm.. They don't sound too good. Might have to just stick to regular helmets

If you rain-x the shield on the outside and use fog-x on the inside it works pretty good, That's what most of the mud racers down here use. The AGV AX-8 dual evo is my favorite dual sport, but its pricey at $399.

i like that one but the price is a little high.. maybe one with the removable visor? if it becomes a problem take it off and use the goggles

The AFX FX-41 looks close to the same but is only $125-$140...Plus it has a built in slide down tinted visor.

I got a fly trekker helmet. 120$. Love the helmet for my supermoto. Visor can come off and u can use goggles as well. Super comfortable. And has tons of vents that u can open and close.
