So, my girlfriend got me a full hmf performance exhaust.

It might just be me.. But the fitmet on it is garbage. I know it was dropped because the slipon joint was half crushed.

When I bolt the header up, one of the "primary's" is right on the block ( so much so that just front trying to fit it it slightly dented the header...and scratched it. If I ran it chances are it would eventually rub a hole in the pipe)

So I go to put the slip on onto the header... The little tabs to bolt It up, are twisted, to get them where I need I need to "tweak" the rest of the exhaust... But then the slipon where is has the couple bends before slip joint... Are already hitting the subframe!!! And the way it needs to move to bolt it up to mounts, would mean the header has to move even closer to the block!!!

Anyone else have these issues?

Put one on my son's 09, we didn't have that many problems but we did have to lengthen the header pipe where the slip-on goes on, it was too short by about 3/4". I've seen this is a common problem with them. Sounds as though you are having many more issues. Definitely can't have it rubbing the engine or subframe anywhere. And damaged the way it was, I'd contact the company and tell them about the figment problems and the damage.

They asked me to call them tomorrow.

I mean I get that I may need to do some adjusting but if its rubbing the block... It will eventually wear either the block or put a hole into the pipe.

Ordered it from Motorsport and so far they are very willing to help

So, they will exchange it. Howeverrr they have to order it for me.. Which will be about 2 weeks wait.
And I'm unsure if I'll be able to reuse the old gasket for the slip joint on the stock header... And order time on that is also about 2 weeks.. And were about to get a bunch of snow!!!

You should be able to reuse that stock slip on gasket. If it needs a little extra sealing use a little high temp silicone also.
