I'm thinking I might have a slightly bent front spindle so I went to a Polaris parts site to confirm the interchangability of the spindles and lo and behold I see they list different part numbers for the Outlaw 500/Predator 500 (1822878 RH/1822877 LH) and all of the Outlaw 525 / MXR 450 (1823341 RH/1823340 LH).
  Does anyone know the difference?

You would need to get the brake calipers to use the 450/525 spindles .  The mounts for the calipers is the only difference.

Thanks Distraction, I was kind of guessing that.  Im glad I didn't order one for a 500.

After some careful measuring last night I came to the conclusion its not the spindle, it seems the frame has about a 2 degree twist in the front.  Just enough to bug me but not enough to get it fixed.  lol
