Is it of any value to wrap the exhaust header and pipe? I'm going to be installing a new slip on and was wondering if wrapping the exhaust pipe would provide any siginificat gains?

In my opinion, it's not worth it. A properly
sized head pipe in stainless steel is where I
go.

I was planning on keeping the stock head pipe and adding a HMF performance series slip on. Wrapping the pipe seems to be a step most people don't bother with. I was considering doing it if there was and gain to be had.

The only signifigant gains you will get with a steel pipe wrapped, is RUST!
