What would you guy's recommend I'm using Maxima Crystal clear chain guard now with a D.I.D X-ring chain but it makes a mess out of that area of the quad and looking at the pictures of other quads on here they look a lot cleaner in that area. The track I ride at is dirt with a fair amount of sand in it if that makes a difference.

PJ chain wax usually works good for me. I've used Belray
also, and it was alright.

I've used Maxima.  While it is ok, it attracts dirt and sand like many wet chain lubes do.  Tons of dirt and sand sticking to and grinding my chain and sprockets negates the purpose of chain lube, in my opinion.  These days I use WD40 on O-ring/X-ring type chains to keep them clean and to displace water.  Any other chain lube is used sparingly for the previously mentioned reasons and to prevent it from slinging or dripping on the cv boots.  I will be trying out Dupont Teflon Chain Saver soon to see how it works.
