Seems like a few of the companies that used to do ceramic coating are no longer in business.  There are a couple local companies that do it, but costs have gone up substantially since I last checked.  Is there still interest in having exhausts ceramic coated, or has it fallen out of fashion?

The guy that did my 22lr barrel suppressor can in wrought
iron black, no longer offers the service. Mike came right out
and said, there is not enough people willing to pay the price,
and it was just a big pain in ass from set up to clean up. He
says he'll still do small lot powder coating but probably be out
of that in another 2 years.....On another note, we talked
about the decline of sport ATV's. Mike said he would see about
3 ATV jobs per month, and now lucky to see 3 per year.

wow that's crazy, im sure the consumer has just gotten tired of seeing their money get stretched so thin. the economy has taken its toll over a long period and this is a trend. look at how many companies are no longer around doing atv stuff, if the demand has fallen then profits do too! sad but true! very few good companies still doing the custom stuff! good example.....Fuj Customs has had to drop products for lack of demand and increased costs to produce. XOXOXO Fuj!

Thanks.  I'll check him out.  I also know a guy locally who offered to ceramic coat exhaust, but he has to buy minimum quantities of ceramic.  To make it cost effective there would have to be a couple other people in on the deal.

I just don't want my pipe rusting away, so I am looking at options to keep it nice.  VHT paint seems like nothing more than paint.  Exhaust wrap is out of the question.

Let me know if you find someone to do it because I have been wanting to do my pipes but have not found a single shop

I want to get my head pipe done.
I will see what sort of pricing is available if we can get multiple pieces done at the same time.

Ok.  The local guy can get several colors.

Black
Satin Black
Steel
Cast Iron
Titanium
Aluminum
Shiny Aluminum
Stainless Steel
White
Gray
Blue
Chrome

Some colors withstand higher temperatures than others.  I'm hoping to get some pricing soon.

Looks like it would start at approximately $80 from the local guy, depending on color and prep work required.  Buster beaver is quoting $200 each for a volume discount.
