okay, so i have a stock pipe on right now, waiting for my new pipe in the mail. and when i drive it now the pipe will start to blow out smoke like its burning oil. the pipe i have now doesnt have a baffle. could the fact that it doesnt have a baffle have anything to do with it or just the rings going? doesnt feel like the rings are going to me

What color is the smoke?

White:  Water
Blue:    Oil
Black:   Fuel
Brown:  Bullshit

The baffle should not have anything to do with it smoking.

Does it smoke only on startup, while maintaining a certain RPM, or just during hard acceleration?

Possible causes or smoke:

Wet muffler packing from not washing properly
Bad rings
Damaged cylinder wall
Bad valve stem oil seals
Bad head gasket
Overheating
Improper oil level
Improper oil grade
Bad fuel
Carburetor issues
Clogged air filter
Choke in "on" position

If you can post more information, it would be easier to track down the problem.

Crap!!!! I hope it doesn't look like that, if so, a new exhaust is the least of your worries. LOL!!
But seriously, it would be good to run a compression test. Warm it up, run the comp test, if it seems a little low, put a little oil in the cylinder thru the spark plug hope and check compression again. If it comes up significantly then your rings and/or cylinder are worn or damaged.

I would pull the carb, and see if the intake valve stems have oil on them. If not, check the exhaust stems. Mine had a similar problem, and it was the intake valve oil seals. Seemed normal at idle, but smoked a lot if I really got on the gas while riding it. Its very easy to check this, so its a good place to start.

Yeah likely valve seals or piston rings.
