Decided to pick up another quad, a preddy this time. I keep seeing there were issues with the 2003 transmission, was this completely fixed in 2004? or do the 2004's have issues as well? I know the 2004 doesnt have reverse but thats not an issue for me.

I never had problems with the transmission in my 03. However, if I were to look for a preddy, I will look for one with reverse and wide trans ratio. The close ratios with the black covers and the wides were the silver. I know you do a lot of straight dirt roads. You will greatly benefit from the wide trans

Yep. That's what I was thinking.

An 07 outlaw actually just popped up for $2500. Cleaner than my 06 was. Fingers crossed its still for sale in 2 weeks when insurance pays out for my stolen sled.
