Starts up fine, idle is decent, but if I leave it idling it dies. This past time the fan was on and stayed on after it died. Anyone have any input on this? Is there a safety somewhere I’m missing?

If it has to cool off again before it restarts there is a resettable fuse in a bag I believe it's under the hood in front. If they get corroded or Rusty when it gets warm it will shut it off when it cools off it'll run again .if that is the case it may need to be replaced either with a factory resetable fuse or just with an automotive Style fuse that is waterproofed better than the black bag

There are three fuses in that area. A five amp a 10 amp and a 15 amp. The five amp is blown. I do not know where any of them go to. I have ordered a fuse to replace it

The 5 amp is for the battery/ignition. Is there a different fuse other than the OEM one that I can use? Polaris wants $34 for one fuse.

I think the pins on a standard Automotive fuse from the auto parts store will match up just fine.

Polaris ones are actually breakers, you can get a automotive breaker and solder the pins from your bad one on wires and make it work, or just carry a few fuses...

I tried using a direct wire just to see if there was spark and I got nothing. Ignition coil checked out ok as did battery, looks like I’ll go through the CDI now.  also, i ordered some of those circuit breakers, they will be here Tuesday.

You might check for a wire grounding out.  I'd think it'd take allot to burn up a circuit breaker as they usually close again after they cool down.

The 5 amp was very corroded.  I can see why it failed.  I plan on trying to use an auto 5 amp, just to see what happens.  I ordered 5, 10, and 15 amp just to be safe and replace all of them.  probably silicone the box up as well.  The book says that the 5 amp is going to the CDI, 10amp goes to the fan and 15 amp goes to system main.  the 10 & 15 checked good.  If it blows, somethings rubbing somewhere and I will try to disconnect all wiring to the lights and see what that does.

Auto fuse worked out fine,  I seem to be having a bogging out issue when on the throttle in first and second gears.  Also seems to die or wanna die when riding and using the clutch.
